1. Woman Empowerment with the Maharani programme
“Educate a girl, change the world”.
Throughout history, women have played a pivotal role in society, ensuring the stability, progress, and long-term development of nations. Consequently, it becomes imperative for us to empower our girls, enabling them to grow into confident, strong young women who can be formidable forces for good.
Since its establishment in 2010, the award-winning Maharani Programme has benefited over 8000 teenage girls hailing from underserved communities in Malaysia. This program prepares them to navigate the challenges and vulnerabilities of adolescence through various facets.
The girls actively engage in learning about gender equality, sexual and reproductive health, ethnicity, and culture, as well as the significance of physical and spiritual wellness. These valuable tools help them realize and fulfil their potential.
2. Building livelihood potential for rural girls with Mann Deshi Foundation
This youth and women’s development program is actively training girls from rural Maharashtra, enabling them to achieve financial independence and pursue careers in the civil service and sports-related professions.
3. Capacity building for girls and women in Thailand with ASA Foundation
