Immune Health

Immunity means your body’s cellular strength to fight the harmful organisms that try to or do enter your body. Your body’s immune health should be strong to protect you from all these toxic or dangerous microbes.

Strong immunity is a must if you want to live a happy and healthy life. Especially in today’s challenging times, with coronavirus and everything. Your body has the capability of beating any virus, but it can only do so if you’re healthy and have a strong immunity.

So now the question arises, What determines that you have low immunity?

1. You always have a cold

It is normal for any or every adult to catch a common cold twice to thrice in a year, and recover between seven to ten days. But if you catch it often and do not recover easily, then it’s a sign for weak immunity.

2. Tummy Troubles

Tummy trouble is a sign for weak immunity because most of your good bacteria, nearly 70% of them, is situated in your bowel track. So having constant gas, constipation and diarrhea is not a good sign for your immunity.

3. Constantly tired

If you are feeling tired constantly even after getting enough sleep and rest. Then that can be a sign of low immunity. When your immune system struggles, so does your energy level.

If you notice these in you or in people around you, there are chances that they are suffering from a low immunity.
What can you do to strengthen your immunity?

Strengthening immunity is not easy. Because, its not just a cell it’s a whole system. Reviving and strengthening a whole system takes a lot of time and a lot of effort.

It is very important to follow these things in your daily life to have a better and stronger immunity. Your immunity system is like a machine, it’ll work only if you put in the right fuel in it.

Watch what you eat

Healthy eating is necessary for a stronger immunity. The nutrients you get from food — in particular, plant-based foods like fruits, vegetables, herbs, and spices — are essential to keeping your immune system functioning properly. These foods are called superfoods and are very necessary for our immunity.

Species like cinnamon, clove, thyme, oregano have displayed antibacterial properties. They slow down the process of bacterial formation in lots of foods, and they work miracles in human body.
People in ancient India, used to use these species for medicinal purposes. So use them in a low quantity in your daily diet and you will strengthen your immunity.

Whole plant foods like fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, and legumes are rich in nutrients and antioxidants that may give you an upper hand against harmful pathogens.

Eat more spinach, broccoli, sprouts ect.
The antioxidants in these foods help decrease inflammation by combatting unstable compounds called free radicals, which can cause inflammation when they build up in your body in high levels.

Magnesium gluconate – Serves as a building block for RNA and DNA synthesis.

Helps digest proteins, carbohydrates, and fats, boosts energy levels by ATP (activating adenosine triphosphate). Magnesium is a mineral that supports hundreds of chemical reactions in the body. It also benefits people with type 2 diabetes. Magnesium has been shown to help fight inflammation. It reduces the inflammatory marker CRP and provides several other benefits. Helps lower blood pressure in people with elevated levels.

Copper gluconate acts as an immune system booster, and it also plays a role in keeping nerves and bones healthy. Copper is an essential trace mineral necessary for survival. It is found in all body tissues and is involved in making red blood cells and maintaining nerve cells and the immune system. It also helps the body form collagen and absorb iron, and is associated with energy production.

Zinc gluconate in its highly absorbable and bioavailable form is important for immunity, cell growth, metabolism and vitality. According to the European Journal of Immunology, the human body needs zinc to activate T lymphocytes (T cells).

T cells help the body in two ways:

controlling and regulating immune responses

attacking infected or cancerous cells

Zinc deficiency can severely impair immune system function.

L-Glutamine is a critical fuel source for immune cells, including white blood cells and certain intestinal cells. The function of the immune system can be compromised when insufficient amounts of glutamine are available. Glutamine is also an important molecule for the immune system and intestinal health.

Arginine has an array of potential benefits that range from heart health to helping build muscles, repair wounds, and improve male fertility.

Maintaining immunity during times like these is very necessary. Keep yourself safe and healthy.
