NEW BEGINNINGS

“If Inspiration doesn’t come to you, build a bridge and go to it.”, Something I read in a self-help book that has struck me the most. When I started this venture with QNET, I was confused and a little sceptical as to how will I be able to take it through. I had never done anything like this before. How will I get people to know about this? Will I be able to sell the products and achieve my self made goals? All these questions were haunting my mind and in the midst of this chaos, I found my inspiration.

I’m sure all of us know these vendors who go from places to places to sell their products. People like these sabjiwalas, they go everyday trying to sell their products. I’m sure they have days where it all feels like its not going to work out; but even then they relentlessly do the same thing. When they are so committed to their work, why shouldn’t we be.

The Hindu holy book GEETA says, “Karm krte raho, fal ki chinta mat kro”, that means keep working hard and don’t worry about the results. Its similar to the concept of reap what you sow, when you work hard relentlessly, you are bound to get the result of your work.

Getting the fruits of my labour

This year I got to attend the biggest event by QNET; V-Malaysia, to encourage entrepreneurs like me and giving us a new direction and new hopes. This was my first ever V-Con.

I had read a lot about it, over the blogs by other IR’s and their Facebook pages and on Qbuzz (their official blog). It looked like a lot of fun and I really wanted to go there. So V-Conference is an event to honor the hard working spirit of IR’s and help them learn new techniques as how to grow their businesses.

I saw an opportunity to explore new areas and learn new things and find a new approach to my business. I believe that you should learn a new thing everyday; and yearn to grow for your own good. As an entrepreneur I want to learn something that would help me grow my business.

This V CONFERENCE was an amazing experience, not only was it enlightening but it introduced me to so many new cultures and new people. This wasn’t something that would help me grow my business, it also helped me grow as a person.
